GET IN THE GAME Girls is designed to provide a unique experience for high school female athletes to allow them to explore their God given talents, embrace the uniqueness of those talents, and feel empowered to boldly step into the game God has called them to
Athletes will develop insight, knowledge, and tools to lead themselves and others utilizing their God given talents on the field, in their community, and their circle of influence.
Athletics offers young women so much beyond the sport they play! They have an opportunity to build their character and develop skills that will carry them throughout their entire life
Events – Get In The Game Girls Retreat
Our first retreat was held in 2021 and focused on Your Unique Gifts – with over 120 girls in attendance across multiple sports teams. The all day event was full of food trucks, fun activities, panel discussions from D1 collegiate athletes, breakout sessions focusing on leading yourself and leading others and a powerful closing session by an olympic gold medalist!
Girls left the retreat full of excitement sharing how much they loved the speakers and how willing they were to be honest and authentic and that it was relatable to what they were going through. They especially loved meeting new people and having fun! They left inspired to lean into their own gifts and see new possibilities for themselves.
Our theme for this year’s retreat is Reach Beyond Your Limits. Our verse for the meeting is Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
God doesn’t call those that are equipped, he equips those he calls. This year you will hear from current athletes, former athletes and women that have risen to the top of their career sharing their stories of persevering through obstacles, building confidence and embracing their unique gifts to reach further than they ever dreamed possible. The goal of this retreat is to challenge you and teach you new skills, all while equipping you with more tools to become an extraordinary leader on/off the field.
We are bringing back the food trucks and yoga and adding in even more fun activities!

Meet the Student Athlete Officers
Get in the Girls is a hands-on student led organization! Our officers have been instrumental in planning and organizing the annual retreat from building the website and logo, social meeting, marketing, planning activities, identifying speakers, finding corporate sponsors… and so much more!
